The Objectifs x Momo Short Film Incubator is an initiative that focuses on developing short film scripts. The programme is open to Southeast Asian filmmakers working with moving images, and will provide five selected participants with mentorship and a valuable support network as they work on their scripts.
The Objectifs x Momo Film Co Short Film Incubator will run from 2 June – 19 July 2025. This year’s incubator will take place with a hybrid format, with weeks 1 to 5 conducted online, and the sessions from 17 to 20 July will be conducted in person at Objectifs. Applications close on 2 March 2025.
After the workshop, all selected participants’ scripts will be reviewed by the mentors and a cash prize of SGD$1,500 will be awarded to one of the participants/teams for the most promising script.
Momo Film Co is the programme partner for the Objectifs Short Film Incubator.

MENTORS
Khozy Rizal is a filmmaker based in Makassar, Indonesia. He started making films in 2021 with a short film Makassar is a City for Football Fans which was screened at Sundance, BFI Flare and several other film festivals. In 2023, his short film Basri & Salma in a Never-ending Comedy had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and was the first Indonesian short film that competed for the Short Film Palme d’Or. The short film was screened at more than 100 festivals including Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand, AFI Fest and SXSW Sydney. In 2024, he made another short Little Rebels Cinema Club that had its International premiere at the Generation Kplus – Berlin International Film Festival 2025. He’s also an alumnus of Busan Asian Film Academy, Locarno Filmmakers Academy and Berlinale Talents.
Ratchapoom Boonbunchachoke is a Thai filmmaker born, raised, and based in Bangkok. A graduate of the film department at Chulalongkorn University, he primarily works as a scriptwriter for studio films and series. In 2020, his short film Red Aninsri; Or, Tiptoeing on the Still Trembling Berlin Wall was selected to compete at the Locarno Film Festival. The film later screened at numerous festivals, including Festival du Nouveau Cinéma, Torino, Bogotá, Glasgow, Curtas Vila do Conde, Singapore, among others. He is currently completing his debut feature film, A Useful Ghost, set for release in 2025.
