Jaclyn Chan is a former banker who quit her job to pursue scriptwriting. She has written for a variety of television shows and feature films, in genres spanning comedies, dramas, animation and documentaries. Her work has been nominated at the Asian Television Awards, the International Emmys and has been awarded Gold at the New York Festivals. She is currently a writer for a mobile role playing game, Dilford. 

Jaclyn was previously an adjunct lecturer at LASALLE College of the Arts and Vice-President of the Screenwriters Association (Singapore). She is currently a juror with the International Emmys and a member of the Independent Writers Caucus, Writers Guild of America, West. She obtained her graduate degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California.
