My Favourite Things Exhibition
5 – 14 Jul 2025
Objectifs Chapel Gallery and Lower Galleries
Opening: Sat 5 Jul 2025, 11am – 7pm

This exhibition is part of ART:DIS Pocket Fest, a mini arts festival with a big heart. Inspired by the beloved tune from The Sound of Music, 31 young artists with disabilities invite you to see the world as they do—through objects, themes, and ideas that hold personal significance and spark joy.

This spirit of celebration, coupled with the artists’ playful and thoughtful approaches, infuses the exhibition with a sense of warmth and gladness. Despite the formal training they have undergone, the works maintain a sense of spontaneity and sincerity that captivates audiences, reminding us that art, at its core, is an expression of the things we love. My Favourite Things offers an invitation to pause, reflect, and appreciate the beauty of everyday objects and memories.

About ART:DIS

Formerly known as Very Special Arts Singapore, ART:DIS (Arts & Disability) Singapore is a non-profit organisation established in 1993, championing the learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities (PwDs) in and through the arts.

ART:DIS provides a wide range of programmes to enable PwDs to develop their artistic interests, grow their self-confidence and engage them as active members of a supported community, outside of and beyond formal education. Their parallel professional development pathways further supports disabled artists to develop careers in the arts through industry mentorships and showcase opportunities.
