WHEN NOTHING HAPPENS – REFRAMING THE EVERYDAY

When Nothing Happens: Reframing the Everyday explores living in our challenging and uncertain times through a selection of artworks by Ang Song Nian, Aik Beng Chia, Herman Chong, Atelier HOKO, John Clang, Kathy Anne Lim, Liu Ying, and Robert Zhao Renhui. Each offers a re-examination of the everyday, from the poetry of the quotidian to accidental beauty, and the sublime in nature to the absurdity of domestic spaces, amongst many others. They transform the seemingly familiar and banal in our everyday anew, offering a balm for our restless bodies and soul in a time when nothing happens.
