About the Role
The Marketing & Design Intern will work closely alongside our marketing and programming team, contributing to the brand identity and public presence of Objectifs across print and digital platforms. Through this internship, we hope to offer the intern hands-on experience in content creation, graphic design, and social media strategy within a non-profit visual arts organisation.
The internship is a full-time position, and the intern is expected to be fully committed for the duration of the programme. You must be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a small team environment. A monthly internship stipend is provided for the duration of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work with Objectifs’ marketing and programming team to:
• Design and produce graphic assets for print and digital use, including posters, social media graphics, e-newsletters, and exhibition collateral.
• Support the development and maintenance of a consistent visual identity across all communications.
• Assist in photo and video production and editing for documentation of programmes.
• Provide general administrative and logistical support for programmes and events as needed.
• You will be required to work about 40 hours per week, including certain weeknights and weekends (time off in-lieu is provided).
You will receive a monthly stipend of $1,200. If you require time off during this internship period, please include the dates that you will be unavailable in your application. Please note that the stipend will be pro-rated based on the number of days worked.
Eligibility
• The position is an in-person role (no remote working), and is open to Singaporeans and Singaporean PRs only.
• Applicants should have a background or strong interest in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related creative field.
• Applicants should have an interest in the arts. We expect applicants to demonstrate some knowledge of the content and programmes produced at Objectifs.
• We welcome applications from fresh graduates and those exploring a mid-career switch.
Skills & Requirements
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design software.
• Experience with video editing software is an advantage.
• Strong visual sensibility and an eye for layout, typography, and composition.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of digital content trends.
