Studio Residency for May to August 2022
Objectifs invites photographers, filmmakers, and visual artists who are based in Singapore and working in lens-based mediums to apply for the Objectifs Artist Studio Residency 2022. The programme provides residents with valuable space to develop projects in a conducive environment.
Successful applicants will have access to the Objectifs Artist Studio for a minimum of one month, with the option to extend for a second month depending on availability.
The Objectifs Artist Studio is a simply furnished, brightly lit, air-conditioned 2.3m x 2.9m space, equipped with wifi and electricity. Residents will be free to pursue their independent projects uninterrupted, while immersed in the heart of the Bras Basah Bugis Arts and Culture district.
The programme may result in opportunities to show their work in the form of a week-long exhibition in the Objectifs Lower Gallery or an artist talk, subject to discussion. The Resident is also welcome to participate in talks and screenings taking place during the Studio period.
Applications are currently open for the period spanning May to August 2022. All applications must be submitted by Sun 20 March 2022, 11.59pm.
Participation in the Objectifs Artist Studio Residency is subject to the following terms and conditions.
Selected residents must also be fully vaccinated as part of the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures in effect from 1 Feb 2022, and be able to present proof of full vaccination via the TraceTogether app or other official documentation. (Read more here.)
