Collection of Joy

$58.00

Collection of Joy is a series of black and white photographs that Mr Lim Kwong Ling shot in Singapore during the 60s and 70s using his Hasselblad camera. This collection of images documents scenes of the daily lives of Singaporeans between the 60s and 70s, and was assembled for the readers with the hope that it would evoke feelings of love and loss, that recount the struggle of a young country out to define its own destiny, that tell a story of a man’s romance with the rapidly transforming, and now unrecognisable cityscape of Singapore.
