PHOTOWALK: KAMPONG GLAM
2h over 1 session
Located right in the bustling heart of the city, Kampong Glam is an ethnic enclave associated with Malay, Arab and Muslim communities in Singapore. In addition to monuments such as the magnificent Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre, the neighbourhood is home to a diverse array of communities: hawkers selling traditional fare, old-school tea stalls, businesses stocking religious items, furniture and handicrafts, clothing and fragrances are housed in conserved shophouses alongside laidback cafes, trendy restaurants, arts groups and galleries, indie brands, boutique hotels and street art.
Soak in the atmosphere while learning about street photography, architecture photography, simple portraiture, and shooting during the beautiful evening “golden hour” and sunset. Participants are to bring their own cameras they are comfortable with; smartphones are suitable too.
