Editing has often been considered the last critical step in story-telling, an art form that helps to distinguish a great film from a good one. How can you make editing work for you, to enhance your story structure, style and flow?

In this intensive, hands-on introductory workshop, participants will learn the tools of editing with Final Cut Pro 6. Participants will be taken through the process of non-linear editing, from project management, to capturing, basic editing tools, basic audio editing, filters and transition, and finally, output. Participants will work on clips using individual iMacs, allowing them the opportunity for hands-on practice and guidance. Some background knowledge in video making or editing is helpful.

Schedule May 26 - Jun 30, Mon, 700pm - 1000pm
