Paul Seow

Paul Seow is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer, initially an I.T. consultant who took his first official photography lesson at Objectifs in 2003 that planted his love for photography. Realizing that photography was his passion, he made a life changing decision and pursued a Bachelor of Photography majoring in Creative Advertising at the Queensland College of Art in Brisbane, Australia.

After studying and working in Australia for the past five years, he has come full circle and is back at Objectifs - this time as an instructor, eager to share his passion and knowledge that he has acquired over his time and experience. Initially trained in the darkroom and loving the traditional photographic process, he has embraced digital imaging as the future, while exploring opportunities where mergence of old and new can come together. Some of his corporate clients include Poweract.com, Starcom Media (Malaysia), Henley Homes and Myers (Australia) and the Singapore Armed Forces.

His passion thru the lens has pushed him to provoke the viewer to look beyond the first gaze, to look deeper into the image, to question the answers and challenge social norms. Through this, he hopes that stigmas and perceptions can be broken down, and once again, learn to appreciate our differences and individuality.
