is one of the
founders and a practising photo artist with sixonestudios,
a studio specializing in photography and art direction. He
now consults for digital photography and workflow projects.
Having graduated from Temasek Design School's Visual Communications
programme with a major in photography, he has done several
photography and design projects for clients such Alexandra
Hospital, Ministry of Education, National Youth Achievement
Awards Council, Singapore Sports Council, Fairy's Inc.
Nicholas believes that one has to constantly build up his
/ her personal growth in photography by constantly experiencing
one's environment. Recently concluded efforts include the
very successful PhotoKinesis:01 fine art exhibition in August
2003 and the One-Room Flat installation / photography exhibition
at the Singapore History Museum in June 2003.
Previously an assistant to photographer KF Seetoh, Nicholas
was one of the ten participants chosen for the inaugural Shooting
Home Workshop organised by Objectifs - Centre for Photography
and Filmmaking in March 2003. He is also a sponsored member
of the Master Photographers' Association based in the UK..
