Starbound displays black-and-white photographs, exploring behind-the-scenes film productions and film stars from the 1950s to the 60s.

Born in 1909, Marcel Thomas' backdrop forms a rail of his professional history - once a controller in cinemas, a worker in the iron and steel industry, and paparazzi at one stage, Thomas had been through the off-beaten track as a photographer and also the life of an average person caught in between world tumults and the glitzy world of the film industry.

He fell in love with the film stars - for him, these magical moments he captured with his lens provide a glimpse of eternity, of which the viewers will get to see behind-the-scene shots of international stars such as Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn and Marlon Brando, from some of the highly-acclaimed classical films such as Le Bal des Maudits (1958), Trapeze (1956) and Casque d'Or (1952).
