Hailed as one of Thailand’s most influential contemporary photographers, Manit will talk about his most recent projects, the "Pink Man Series", "Bangkok in Black & White" and "Protest", and share the developmental process of his ideas.

Based in Bangkok, Manit Sriwanichpoom is one of Thailand’s most influential contemporary photographers. He is most known for his Pink Man series and his work has been exhibited internationally at prestigious art venues including the 50th Venice Biennale (2003), the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (1999), and the Sao Paulo Bienal (1998).

With two books published - Bangkok in Black & White (2002) and Protest (2003) – Manit was also featured in Blink (Phaidon Press) as one of the world’s 100 most exciting contemporary photographers selected by 10 international curators. He currently sits on the board of the Bangkok Metropolitan Art Centre project and is on the Executive Board of Bangkok Art & Culture Foundation. He is a curator and supervisor to Surat Osathanugraph Photographic Collection.
