Because “the world makes better sense photographed”, Living Dangerously showcases the works of Russel Zehnder as he journeys around Northern India (Delhli, Varanasi, Bodhgaya, Darjeeling and Agra). According to Russel, "We are this huge big continuum of human traffic. When photographed, the world stops and we are able to reflect on our existence."

Using the black and white medium, Russel reflects about life and catalogues his thoughts and reflections through his pictures. During his travels, photography serves as the common mode of communication, bridging language and cultural gaps. Through his photography, he makes a connection with his subjects – each image capturing the essence of a friendship found and a silent exchange of understanding and experiences.
