"The images in this series show that there is as much life in the night as there is in the day. Taken around various construction areas, the crane operators are like artists, who ‘paint’ the night sky with the arms of the crane. Their unpredictable nature have intrigued me to capture them in action. These images cannot be seen by the human eye – each exposure took between 15 minutes to more than an hour. These fleeting moments can only be captured by the film, which sees continuously – in the most surreal way."

There will be 24 hand-printed silver gelatin images on display at Objectifs. All works on display are part of an edition of 3, and are available for sale.
