A collaboration between photography and product design, BEAM is an art piece that fuses both form and function.

Conceptualised by photographer Ernest Goh during his artists residency (Apr-Jun '06) with Objectifs and designer Daniel Pillai, BEAM is a soft illuminating lamp as well as a unique piece of photographic art consisting primarily of a piece of medium format transparency film, not a reproduced photograph; this design concept means that each piece of BEAM art is one-of-a-kind and a truly valuable piece of art.
