Nothing to shoot in Singapore. No inspiration. No clue on how to break into the industry. No professional network. These are often cited as reasons driving talented local photographers to seek more exciting pastures abroad. Shooting Home aims to change that. Held by Objectifs, Shooting Home is an annual event designed with the belief that ‘home’ is the first step for aspiring photographers to explore their professional careers. The ten participants from the inaugural Shooting Home in 2003 have gone on to explore multiple avenues with their photography. Two have left their jobs to pursue photography as a career. Three have used photography to help the community. Four have exhibited in solo and group shows. And all are still pursuing their love for photography – this passion is showcased here in their latest project – this reunion show. Featuring the works of: |

About Shooting Home Shooting Home is a unique mentoring programme in photography that goes beyond the workshop walls. Ten participants, regardless of background and experience, are selected for one common reason - the desire to pursue photography as a career and their passion to push their work to a higher standard. |
